Rare-earth-magnet and precision-mechanics names firmed into a looming Chinese export deadline while Teradyne and the chip-test rung slid; a penny-stock security-robot maker was the nominal laggard.

Energy Fuels (UUUU) led the basket, up 4.1% to $11.26, the rare-earth magnets & motor materials chokepoint that supplies the NdFeB feedstock behind every robot actuator motor. It rose with the broader critical-minerals bid alongside MP Materials (MP) +3.6% to $48.53. This rung trades around November 10, when China's one-year suspension of its October 2025 rare-earth export controls expires — the structural overhang that keeps domestic-magnet names bid regardless of day-to-day robotics news.

The computed laggard was Knightscope (KSCP), −4.3% to $0.69, but it is a sub-$1 security-robot micro-cap down roughly 80% year-to-date and extended its slide with no fresh Tuesday catalyst; read it as drift in an illiquid name, not a sector signal. The meaningful weakness sat in the robot-brains/compute and integrator rungs tied to semiconductors: Teradyne (TER) −3.2% to $430.32 — owner of Universal Robots and MiR, swept up in the session's chip-equipment selloff — and Hyundai's Seoul line (005380.KS) −3.4%, parent of Boston Dynamics.

The mechanical chokepoints firmed. THK's ADR (THKLY) rose 3.7% (ball screws, linear guides & bearings) and Schaeffler's ADR (SFFLY) 3.7% (bearings), with Regal Rexnord (RRX) +3.2% on the frameless-motors and integrated-actuator rung. Simulation, training & robot software was the strongest cluster — Synopsys (SNPS) +3.4% to $505.17, Cognex (CGNX) +3.1% (vision) and Symbotic (SYM) +3.0% to $44.15. The strain-wave gear names were quiet, with Harmonic Drive (HSYDF) +0.4% and Nabtesco's Tokyo line up about 0.2%.

The calendar is dense into year-end. RoboBusiness (Santa Clara, Oct 19–21) and its humanoid-for-industry track are the next showcase; Hyundai reports Q3 around October 27. The magnet rung watches the November 10 rare-earth-suspension expiry and the January 1, 2027 DFARS ban on Chinese-melted or -fabricated NdFeB/SmCo magnets in defense systems. Further out, the Humanoids Summit (Dec 1–2) and the anticipated Boston Dynamics Nasdaq IPO decision window frame the platform story.
